About DelawareMommies
Delawaremommies.com is a community within The Mommies Network. In Maryland, Kristin Smith was a member of BaltimoreMommies.com and ChesapeakeMommies.com, but when she moved to Delaware she did not know where other moms were hanging out or where to take her kids to play and just have fun. Kristin realized that Delaware needed its own Mommies Network site. Kristin started DelawareMommies.com in October 2009 in order to get to know other moms in her area and to create lasting memories for her children and herself.
DelawareMommies.com was founded on October 23rd, 2009 and currently has 87 active members.

About The Mommies Network
The Mommies Network is a 501c(3) non-profit organization dedicated to helping parents find support and friendship in their local community. Members of our network sites chat online in members-only discussion forums - discussing everything from the best photographers to the worst temper tantrums and all that lies between - and meet-up regularly at member-driven events in their city. Whether it's a late night commiseration on a crying baby (there are 4 am posts to prove it) or a Parent's Night Out at a great new restaurant, our groups provide what their members need, when and how they need it.
Our members work full time, stay home full time, work part time, represent many races, are pregnant for the first time, are adoptive parents, were adopted themselves, recently moved to the area, have lived here all their lives, have twins, are happy with one, are single parents, are searching out schools and have watched their kids graduate. In other words, we are a reflection of moms and dads in the real world.
